    Hi Olga,
I think this review or product overview was well written and you obviously have knowledge in the subject. The only thing I might suggest is a basic description of what Gesso is and why it is used. A lot of people might not know how gesso would improve their paintings.
Other than that I like your site. I would love to see some of your art work.
    Keep up the good work,

Hi Jason, thank you for the comment! I have a full article about Gesso right here-

I will definitely add a more visible link to it on this page. You can see a few of my artworks on my Instagram (link is on the top right corner), and I will be adding my paintings to this site shortly 🙂

What great information on all the different gessos, Olga! I am an acrylic painter myself, and absolutely love it. It is almost a meditation for me to paint. And gessos are a definite help.
Years ago, when I did not create my own artworks, and could not afford other peoples, I could buy and frame prints of art I really like and use clear gesso on them to create textured brush strokes so they did not look like just a print. It worked pretty well for that.

Hi Annie! What a great idea about clear gesso application! I have never though of that before, thanks for sharing! Creativity truly has no limits!

    Hi Olga,

Nicely explained article about gesso and its uses, it helped answer a few questions I had. I also really like the next article about how to use it. I have been toying with acrylic paint trying to apply it on the wood, and after reading this article I think I will give it a try but will apply gesso first. Again very informative article, thank you!

    • Olga says:

Hi Douglas, you are welcome, I so glad my article helps! 🙂 Yeah, definitely give you wood panel few coats of gesso before painting on it! Cheers,
